My name is Laura Mastrogiovanni and I am a Dawson College student studying in the Law, Society and Justice program. I am 18 years old and finishing my last semester at this school.

Since I am studying in the field of law, I decided to create an informative website regarding animal circuses and the way the circus patrons greatly mistreat the animals, more so focusing on the bans and legislations that have been set in place in order to avoid this abuse.

The treatment of circus animals when undergoing training for the circus shows, their living conditions and the way they are confined in small spaces when transporting from city to city, as well as how circus animals are sold to canned hunt facilities when their service at the circus is deemed no longer profitable or useful are topics that I found the most important to know.

After going through this website and learning things that you may not have known, I hope to have raised awareness about the maltreatment that animals experience in circuses and in other entertainment industries.
